Bodhi’s mom and I made Larabars from scratch this week with mixed results. The most successful recipe was found here. You should make these today if you like peanut butter cookie dough. I’m addicted.
The other recipes called for soaking dried fruit in water, and also adding water which I found made processing harder and resulted in bars that were too soft. I think I’ll use Katie’s recipe as a template and play around with different fruit/nut butter combinations.
The boys played beautifully all morning! Happy sigh. We’re going to try and do this once a week, making big batches of food that our families can share. “Sister wives!” Holla.
