This is what we have so far. Actually, this isn’t all of it; we have some gifts in California as well. Because I came with a full suitcase, I’m only taking the 0-3 month clothes, including about 20 onesies. And 4 hats. Awwwww.
Most of this is from my sister’s generous mommy friends-thank you SO much! I’m sure it feels good to get rid of the stuff, too, since baby grows so fast and then you have no use for it, but it feels nice to give it away to someone you know. I’m sure I’ll do the same.
The blue and white stripe number, and the green hoodie were purchases my mom and I made at The Little Seedling. We had to do a wee bit of impulse shopping the minute we found out it was a boy.
The ears are killing me. He probably won’t fit into this for awhile, though…
Yesterday was my 34th birthday. I love how I’m not upset by the number at all because I’m knocked up. Before, it was always “I have to hurry up and get pregnant before I’m 35!” Mission accomplished, so I couldn’t care less that I’m old.
I decided to get out my baby book. It’s very yellow, and it has a goat with a knitting needle in its mouth. Totally normal.
These were my feet at birth, and guess what; baby has HUGE feet! When I get back home I’ll scan the ultrasound pics for ya. The tech thought it was so funny, she took a picture that is just one foot, and labeled it simply “foot”. He’s got mama’s feet.
Me on my original birthday. It’s funny how I’m so excited to see what my baby “looks like”, but I’m pretty confident I look nothing like this chick. She is pretty cute, though.
I just came across your blog and wanted to say hi! I’m about halfway through pregnancy and love reading other people’s experiences. Also, I’m having a boy. 🙂
